If you have visited my articles on previous blogs and article directories you will notice that I am passionate about iPhone apps and android applications. However my passion does lean towards making iPhone apps. Often people want to run before they can walk and in this day and age everyone expects instant success. Making iPhone apps is exactly the same as learning anything else that is new. Learn the process to becoming an iPhone app maker and you will find success.

For those who are unaware iOS is the operating system that has been developed specifically for the iPhone and has had several improvements since its initial launch in 2007. The newest variations support the iPod, iPad etc. However unlike the completion from Windows the various download options for iOS are free and you don't have to have a licence. The latest update for iOS is iOS7.0.3 at the time of this writing. With every release Apple tries to improve the functionality within the hardware device that iOS supports and to be honest it has been a great success.

To support that statement of success there has been over 60 billion downloads of Apple applications since the inception of the iPhone and by the middle of 2012 there had been over 400 million devices sold. That was nearly two years ago. You don't have to take my word for it check out other information sources available on the world wide web.

Sure you will often see people winging about one feature or another but to be honest you certainly do not hear of 400 million people moaning about Apple devices such as the iPhone. Compare that to a Microsoft unsatisfied complaint base if it would dare to have one.

The point I am trying to make here is that when you start to learn how to create iPhone apps you will have a solid market place that has already been established for eager clients and customers alike. You will still have to make your app attractive and stand out for your potential clients but at least you will have potential clients to start off with.

The iPhone 5s is Apples latest venture within the mobile phone market at the time of this writing. We will concentrate on this aspect and its new 64bit archetecture. What does that mean to you as an iPhone app maker? Take advantage of the support for 64bit architecture and help make your iPhone apps more efficient by being able to process command data faster and with more efficiency. Totally cool a more focused up to date reliable version of an already existing iPhone app.

Ok now we have established what iOS is and why it is needed, as a potential iPhone app maker you need to have an initial idea or at least a concept for one. The honest truth is that there are millions of Apps available for download within the iPhone app store so the likelyhood of you actually coming up with a totally new concept is at best remote. We need more, fresh, and constructive ideas and therefore this is where we should begin. i.e within the iPhone app store.

Dont be tempted to dive in head first without testing the depth and understand what you want your app to do but don't overcompensate it. It may look a little odd at first but start thing about the end product and then being developing your iPhone app. Firstly have a browse around the various apps in the app store and try and find similar apps to your concept. Once you have found like minded apps review them, and read the customer feedback.

Pay attention and examine the reviews available. Firstly you have to investigate customer feedback on like minded apps, this will ultimately help you to improve the design and workings of your own iPhone app idea. A better working app means returning customers. Here is an idea! why not create your application to incorporate the new 64bit technology. I hope your are starting to see the point that i am trying to make.

As a brief conclusion we have discovered and discussed iOS7 and what to do when you start to map out your own iPhone app idea. Consider reviewing your desired end result before you commence with the production of your app. An intricate part of making iPhone apps is to adhere and go through a process that becomes easier the more you do it. The ultimate aim being to fine tune your instinct for making iPhone apps. There may be trouble ahead and that's OK expect it and work around it where possible, if you find yourself in that situation.

By asking yourself "What if" at each part of the mapping process will help in the ultimate app development. I will go into more on this subject together with what you should be aiming for with your iPhone app creation in my next article. Wishing you the very best of success whilst learning how to develop iPhone apps.
