Wanna know an amazing article marketing strategy that will send targeted traffic to your website.

The trick?

Instead of mass distributing your article to create thousands of back links to your main web site... drive the back links to one well written, highly optimized article submitted to a high ranking article directory. This is called your tier 1 back link. This is also known as a natural back link and is the most powerful backlink you can have.

The thousands of back links to your tier 1 article are tier 2 back links.

So... your tier 2 back links link to your tier 1 article... this tier 1 article has a tier 1 back link to your main web site.

Here are the exact steps:

Step 1: Post your original article on to your blog

Step 2: Rewrite your article so that it's different enough to appear original.

Step 3: Submit this original article to one of the following article submission sites:

There are more directories you could submit to, but I recommend one of these to get started with. Refer to my post on the top ten free article submission sites for the other directories.

For the best results, only submit one unique article to one directory. Make sure that your resource box includes a link with your keyword phrase linked back to your blog.

Step 4: Spin and/or rewrite your article so that is completely different from the article that you posted to the article directory. It still matters that the article makes sense and is of decent quality, because you never know who will happen upon it. You're going to use this article to be optimized with your keyword phrase and link back to the article you submitted in Step 3.

Step 5: Use a mass distribution service, like to mass distribute this spun article. Make sure that you set it up so that the tier 2 articles are submitted over days and not all at once. There are other services that submit articles to auto approve article directories... for these submission sites you can use any spun, low quality, keyword dense article, as long as it links back to your tier 1 article.

I would also submit your tier 2 articles to Web 2.0 sites like Hubpages and Squidoo.

Pretty neat, huh?

Once the tier 1 article is ranked, your website will begin receiving direct traffic. I recommend that you use this strategy for each keyword phrase you want to rank for.

Try it. Take action and add this tip to your article marketing strategy and watch your traffic increase.
